Hi to you all from sunny Spain,

I wonder if some of you could help me?

I'm looking for recent statistics on the Golf Industry in general and more specific per continent/country? Number of players, number of Golf courses, trends, new developments, etc... I've been ''google'ing'' for some time now but it seems you have to pay for this kind of information.. (which I'm not willing to do :) ... Hope you can help me with valuable links or other kinds of sources of information.

Many thanks in advance!
Steven

There is a magazine that has all of that in it...at least for the U.S.  I think it is called PGA Magazine or something like that.  My club usually has a copy of it laying around in the grill.  I see if I can snag a copy the next time I go in and let you know more specifics.  But maybe on online search for the magazine can help.  I think it is PGA Magazine, but maybe I am wrong...however it is a magazine with the target audience being the PGA members that run golf clubs and it is chuck full of the type of information you are looking for.

Hi Mac,

Many thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, to be able to see/read the information on this website, you have to be a PGA-member otherwise you can not log-in.. (they ask for your membershipnumber and even your social security number)

Thanks anyway, your help is much appreciated!
Steven
