What four women's programs would you put on your Mt. Rushmore of college golf?
I will keep track of the results and we will build a college golf Mt. Rushmore!

Duke and ASU are the only two teams that I can think of that have been dominating the last 20-30 years

Gotta second that ASU, Duke, UCLA and USC. Maybe in the future with the parity thats starting to take place one or more schools might step up a little.

Picking the Mount Rushmore of college golf
From Blog U.
The great thing about sports is debating. Who is the best quarterback of all time? In the NBA, is the Eastern Conference better than the Western Conference? Which four teams will survive March Madness and advance to the Final Four? Which major will be the toughest to win this year?
I want to hear what you, the college golf fan, think about our sport.
Whom would you put on your Mount Rushmore? Pick four teams, which matches the number of presidents on the South Dakota memorial.
For me, it seems pretty obvious with the women’s game. You have to have Arizona State, which has won the most team titles, and Duke, which has dominated in the past 10 years when college golf has been the most competitive. For my final two . . . this is where opinions might begin to differ. I will go with San Jose State for having one of the strongest and most consistent programs of all-time. The final spot on the rock is a tough one, but I would have to lean toward Southern Cal.
The men’s game certainly has more candidates. I’ll start with Oklahoma State. Do I need to explain? Next, I like Houston on my mountain. Under the direction of Dave Williams, the Cougars were a dominant team for many, many years. I am not huge on history, but I do believe Yale, with 21 titles coming many moons ago, deserves a spot on my list. The final spot for me – and it’s a tough one – goes to Georgia. The Bulldogs, for the most part, have been a team that has been mentioned amongst the best in recent times.
Now it is your turn to weigh in.

Some of you are concentrating on recent events too much. Yes ASU and Duke need to be there becaue they have been great both past and present. But for the other two you have to look at programs like San Jose State, Arizona, Furman, even to go a bit deeper Rollins College!
I am going to go with:
Arizona State
Duke
Arizona ( kills me to write that name but Annika, Lorena, Natalie, etc)
San Jose State ( had a run in late 80s early to mid 90s where they were a factor every year and they also go back to Patty Sheehan and Juli Inkster)

Mt. Rushmore...
Duke
Arizona State
Arizona
USC
Duke, ASU, and Arizona were, for me, no brainers. However, picking the fourth team was a tough one. For the fourth spot, I also gave consideration to Furman, San Jose State, and UCLA. I even gave thought to Georgia.

I wonder if we get misguided by recent events and the publicity certain schools get. What if someone ( this means you Lance! ) went back say 30 years. And gave points for certain things. Like 13 for an NCAA championship, 10 for 2nd, 9 for 3rd, 8 for 4th and 7 for 5th. Then 5 points for a conference championship and 3 points for tournament wins in the regular season.
Would we be surprised who the top 4 teams really are?
