In the words of Al Davis...just win baby! And one win doesnt get it done. Not to deserve the way people talk about her.
Yes many lady tour pros would take her resume. But not ones who are heralded as the next great player in the world. Not ones who have a 20 million dollar deal (or whatever it was) with Nike.
As of right now she has not delivered on anything other than being a magnet for controversy.

Hey Golfdad.
How does Michelle and her Nike contract, and her parents' involvement affect anyone else's life. Whatever decision they made affects them only, good or bad. Michelle didn't hype herself, the Media did that.
Remember as a teenager , at her 2nd Sony Open she just missed the cut line by one or two strokes, and tied or scored better than at least 50 PGA and I mean PGA players. This as a FEMALE TEENAGER.
So public speaking might be difficult for her. So what.
Go hate on someone else.

Just an observation...her average driving distance this week is 30-50 yards longer than the rest of the field.

Still have to get the ball in the hole! Did she switched to crosshanded?

She can't putt and that is the bottom line. Lot's of great ball strikers out there. The mini tours are full of them but you can't get it in the hole, you are never gonna cross the line into a big time player.

I don't think I would say she has done nothing.
There many veteran LPGA players and players that have come and gone that don't come close to what she has accomplished in her playing career. |
ONE professional win = 1 more than Nothing (0)
She has at least won on tour. Ochoa '09.

She is too mechanical with her short game and with putting. Has no "feel" for the game and that is what separates the average from the great players. Julie Inkster was never really long, had a wierd looking swing but man she had a short game and got it up and down from everywhere. And thus she is in the Hall of Fame. Annika was a very good putter who became a great putter and also is in the HOF. Michelle is not even an average putter so if she can get to that point or even become a "good" putter, she will win a lot. But that takes imagination, patience, and some natural ability to read greens and not sure she has that combination. A work in progress but don't think she will ever be anything other than a good but never great tour player.

If I was on tour any tour and my putting was so so, I would go see Geoff Mangum. Switching putters, grips, stance etc...will never solve your problems.
