Good question.  You would think the field would be set by now and should be available somewhere.  Some programs have already posted their 2010-2011 schedules on their websites and are showing this event on it.   I think I saw it on Tennesse's  schedule which was sort of surprising given their finish in the championship.

Interesting list.  It is an 'invitational" so some teams might not get invited, or could decline.  Any idea if there is criteria for invitations?  Arizona either 1) ought to be %&@*$ed off or 2) had something better to do in mid September.  Same with a few others.  Who sends the invitations?

How can you have Tenn and WF? WF did not even make last years NCAA. They left out Arizona, Oklahoma State , and Flordia State ?? What kind of favors is A&M playing. The top 10 most of the time get invited back the next year. Great way to burn some bridges.

If ASU doesnt field a team and plays the 3 as individuals, are they still invited?  They are taking a "team" spot from another who missed out - eg Arizona.

ASU is holding an open qualifier first day of school so they can add some players to the big happy family...guess playing 3 indiividuals wasn't such a good idea??

ASU will put together a competitive team and should be allowed in the field.  What baffles me is how three teams that didn't even make it to nationals are in the field while three top ten finishers aren't.  Does the NGCA and/or NCAA just allow the host team to invite whoever they want?  If so, they need to tighten that up, especially if they provide any sort of financial assistance to this tournament.  Texas is in the field but not OSU?   Didn't OSU finish higher than UT in ranking, in the Big 12 Championship, and in the National Championship?  I can't image Arizona, OSU, or FSU would turn down an invite so this has to be a snub.  I thought "tu" was A&M's arch rival. Why not snub them too? Is this allowed to happen on the men's side too?  I'm just a college golf fan, no dog in this fight, but this doesn't smell right.

I think the rules for invite are this : top 10 finish at the nationals and top 10 in final rankings

In addition to WF, I was surprised to see LSU and Michigan State on the list since they didn't made it to the BIG tournament last year.

Very interesting that ASU would have accepted an "Invitation".  The article below could lead one to think that ASU may only have 2 returning players.
