These terms should be thought of completely separate.  Yes, a "walk-on" is anyone on the roster who is not on scholarship.  If any prospect is called twice by a coach, they are a "recruit".  Sooo, if you are called twice or more and you end up being on the team, I guess you are a "recruited walk-on".  That's the way I understand it.  It doesn't really matter to be honest with you.  I think they're actually are some differences in the rules of "recruited walk-ons" with football, but don't quote me on that.
